Thanks to B-School, I published a cookbook and started a tea company!

I’d worked at magazines and a few Internet companies, and I didn’t want the 9-6 grind anymore. I was trying to figure out how to create work that would allow me to be there for my daughter 100%. Enter B-School.

Through the course work and inspiration from Marie to create a life I love, I was able to do exactly that. Every day I pick up my 8-year old daughter from school. I attend all her events, and even more exciting, I’ve inspired her to appreciate food beyond the usual kid-friendly chicken fingers — and I get to do that for other families.

Thanks to what I learned in B-School, I published a cookbook with Skyhorse Publishing called The NYC Kitchen: Recipes inspired by the specialty food shops, spice stores, and markets of New York City. And I started a tea company: The NYC Tea & Trading Company! Working for myself on my own terms and on my own schedule is incredibly fulfilling, and I have Marie to thank for that.
