These B-Schoolers made their
dream business a reality.
Around the time that I discovered Marie, I was crying every day on my way home from work, my jaw ached from 24/7 clenching, and I was 100% convinced that I was well on my way to developing a stress-induced disease. When I learned about B-School I had no idea I wanted to be an entrepreneur (in fact, I had no idea what I wanted to do, period). It was a confusing and depressing time in my life, but something about Marie’s message sparked a kernel of hope in my heart. I signed up for B-School with nothing more than faith and that persistent gut feeling that I was meant to be there.
I went through B-School the first time to simply soak in knowledge, be open to new ideas, and see where the experience took me. What I did not expect was that I would find my soul’s true calling as a painter a few months later as a direct result of my experience and interactions with other students, that I would get to deeply inspire people all over the world with my message and art, and that on a personal level I would stretch just as greatly, exploring spirituality and working to heal the parts of myself that so desperately needed healing.
When I discovered Marie, I was working a job that sucked the life out of me a little more each day. I would seriously dream about my retirement, wishing away most of my life. 2 years later, I no longer work at that job. I am an artist, selling paintings and prints and note cards to inspire people’s lives. Ultimately, the B-School journey has helped me shake loose a lifetime of negative baggage regarding how I interact with the world. I also have the most beautifully heart-centered, generous, inspiring network of people to keep me going (the majority of whom I met through B-School!).
