Here are some of our outstanding success stories.
These smart, hard-working B-Schoolers put in tremendous
time, energy and sweat equity to create
Before B-School, I was a stay at home mom for six years. I had this business idea, but I had no idea how to turn that idea into an actual business.
I knew in my heart that I could do more and be more, but I had seen all the women in my life be literally be on the proverbial wheel of duties of household work and their jobs. And they were all super talented. They were artists, they were singers, they were dancers, but they were never able to follow their dream and on and on they were on that wheel. And I just know that I can not just stop the wheel but break the wheel because I knew in my heart that I could be a mom, have a career, do what I love, and still make money.
I used to make $1,400 to $2,000 per month, and now my business makes anywhere from $15K to $20K per month. I hit six figures this year! Within one year of taking B-School, I 4Xed my income and became recognized as an industry expert. My husband used to give me pocket money and now I helped my family buy our dream home.
One of the main reasons why I became an entrepreneur was to show to my kids that they don’t have to choose between what they love and their dreams. B-School taught me that I could market myself authentically. I could be myself, attract clients and become a brand in my own right. I can work four hours a day and still make money.
I remember when I was a stay at home mom, all the kids in my son’s classroom would come to me and they would call me Ikshan’s Mom. There was a moment where I realized, I don’t want to be defined as just somebody’s mom. I want someone to call me Deepshikha. I want someone to call me the founder of a company. I want someone to call me CEO. And that’s exactly what I’ve done. My boys now see me working from home. They see me taking calls and they love it. Now they ask me, “Can we do this when we grow up?”
