Before B-School, I thought the birth of my child meant the death of my dreams. I couldn’t see how building a business AND raising a child could coexist.

But, I had to try. Once I started investing in myself a world of possibilities opened up. I found that going after my dreams breathed new life into motherhood. I felt happier, more energized, and more excited about my life. I’ll always have a reason why I shouldn’t do something. But, I'm not going to let my dreams be that something. B-School helped me fill in the gaps and see how to bring everything together. It gave me the tools, community, and CONFIDENCE I needed to start over and succeed. More than anything, investing in myself forced me to TRUST myself and learning how to do that has been invaluable (both in my personal and professional life).

It opened my eyes to those things that make successful businesses attractive to those who become loyal fans.

Before discovering MarieTV, while doing a random Google search for women in business, I thought that I was building a business on my own. I did not understand the power of the Universe (frankly, did not believe in one) and the importance of self-love. Since graduating from B-School and religiously watching MarieTV every week, I have rediscovered my sense of awe and childlike wonder. My business has experienced ups and downs, but I feel a deep sense of peace that I did not know was attainable for myself. I have been named one of the Top 40 under 40 accounting professionals in the United States, a "next-generation accountant and business influencer" by Quickbooks and Xero, and have been featured on Huffington Post Live with Suze Orman. Thank you Marie and Team Forleo for supporting us all in building a business and life that we love.

It’s given me the framework for fulfilling my potential.

Doing B-School has been the foundation of everything! I have learnt (and carried on re-learning) the core foundations of the way I do business - classy, caring, smart and effective.

Before B-School, I had some knowledge of online business, but B-School brought it all together in one clear package. Each year, my knowledge becomes deeper and yet there are still new surprises or insights. As I re-watch the material, I still get "a-ha" moments as what Marie teaches resonates in my experience.

Professionally I have gone through 3 "iterations" of my business and only in the last 18 months have I really settled into my passion. That feels totally OK, as online entrepreneurship is the biggest self development tool going! It has taken me time to dig deep and dare to offer the world the deepest part of me and trust that will work - and it has! Oh and I wrote a book too...

The first couple of years I made a loss. Then I started making a profit. Last year I doubled my income and this year I am on course to double that again. I have finally found my "sweet spot"! I have no doubt that I will hit 6 figures in the next couple of years. And that feels good :)

Personally, going on this B-School journey has been momentous. It has given me the framework for finally fulfilling my potential. I knew as soon as I learnt EFT that I could use it online, which is what I wanted, but it took the umbrella of B-School to give it form. It hasn't been easy. I have had to dig deep and study and trust and do SO much emotional work - but it has been worthwhile. I now feel that my business is an authentic showcase of my deepest desires and gifts. For that, I am truly grateful.

The biggest shift in my life and work, was in my confidence - my very belief in myself.

When I approached B-School I felt weighed down, isolated and just unequipped for my future- like I was dragging myself along, and carrying all sorts of other peoples' stuff. As soon as I entered B-School, it felt like I was standing up straighter, focussed on my goals, and getting my sleeves rolled up to do the good work.

The biggest shift in my life and work, was in my confidence - my very belief in myself. I began taking my work and life purpose much more seriously. This instantaneously allowed me to side-step various stresses and aspects of life and work which were draining me (and which could, long-term, have really gotten in the way of my life!), and to gain perspective on the steps I'll have to take, in order to develop my plans and dreams.

I've taken significant time out this year (a month out, back with friends and family in Scotland) to take stock/ have some distance between myself and my daily work/multiple projects. This is something I doubt I'd have invested in, if I hadn't done B-School, and which I will see the benefit of as soon as I return to my arthouse.

B-School has helped me gain a GLOBAL perspective again- it's not that I was ever off my path completely, in terms of changing the world, but I was working myself into something of a mire and mirk. B-School lifted me right up out of that, and set me on a clear track again. This is utterly invaluable, as, when one is in the struggle and strife, it is very hard to see how to step up into a clear space.

For me, the most visible, tangible factor is my physical appearance: I am wholly more calm, confident and focussed, and able to set the pace to a more appropriate rhythm for this period in my life. My work path and business is a very slow burner, and involves significant political and community work alongside my art practise: as with many artists who have an altruistic element to their work, I have often over-spent my resources in service, and failed to nourish myself or develop a support network. The never-ending enthusiasm and excitement of all the other B-Schoolers about their businesses and dreams, just blows any doubts away from what I am doing: I feel lifted by the community, that I could never fall down into any kind of rut, ever again!

We moved from a 25K/yr design studio to a 250K/yr company.

Guess what? I didn't even take B-School. BOOM! Blew your mind.

So my wife Stephanie took B-School in 2011 and it rocked her world. She was able to glean the business acumen and wisdom to move from a 25K/yr design studio to a 250K/yr company within a year. BOOM! Gotch'ya again!

We now have extraordinary employees that do an incredible job delivering amazing brands, strategies and design to the world-changing companies we work with. That means we're able to get out there, continue our learning as leaders and build a culture at Digu that doesn't exist on planet earth (well maybe a little bit at Disney World).

We're growing dynamically. I wanted to thank Marie and your team for believing in the small guys to help them begin to shape the world. Because hey, we all have to start somewhere.

The growth has been so fast I am struggling to keep the day to day going while raising a little one as a single parent half time (my hubby works rotations in Alaska).

Last summer I started a group called Hike it Baby, which at first was a way for me to deal with mild post-partum depression, anxiety, and the sense of isolation that comes with being a new mom. First it was just a few moms hiking and then it was 50 and 100 and now it's thousands. We have Moms hiking with Hike it Baby from Anchorage to Austin to Asheville to Australia. It's incredible. It's overwhelming. It's amazing.

As of today we have 35 active branches and 3 more about to start. We just launched in Australia and are moving into Canada!

Before this I felt very ho-hum with my life. I had been a moderately successful freelance writer, a website developer for small businesses, a mediocre graphic designer. But I was feeling stale. The big shift in my life came when I did B-School to jump start my web business which felt burnt out and tired. I had built a website for Hike it Baby, but it was just a quickie to get her done. Then once I started working on my B-School assignments I knew my heart was no longer in my business, but I had fallen in love with Hike it Baby and what it could become. So that's the path I have followed. And the growth has been so fast I am struggling to keep the day to day going while raising a little one as a single parent half time (my hubby works rotations in Alaska).

Our number one guideline for Hike it Baby is "leave no mama behind." What this means is that no matter what happens on trail we stop and wait for the whole group. As Hike it Baby grows I love that so many women are embracing this so seriously in our group. Also the other focus I try to remind the group daily is that it's the journey...not the destination. This is so hard in our fast paced world to remember. I personally have to remind myself this everyday as well as I climb up this mountain with all of my strength.

So that's my story and it's a work in progress ever evolving. B-School was a big part of why I am now on this path...and I am excited and nervous for the next chapter. I am at a critical point where it's either going to fly or crash.

Hike it Baby absolutely wouldn't have gotten as massive as it has gotten without B-School. I was inspired to think much bigger than just Portland. This last week when I got an email from Australia I was blown away that word had spread there...and that also opened up my eyes to realize that what I was onto was a global concern for all parents. When my son was born I quickly realized that children need nature and the more you give them, the stronger humans they will become. That is why I feel like Hike it Baby has to continue and I hope I can share my story with you all and others.

Marie Forleo & B-School taught me to believe in myself more.

Marie Forleo & B-School taught me to believe in myself more and that no matter how much (or little) I know, I still have a lot to share, and I could still serve. I did start my business before joining B-School but was always struggling with the marketing part and felt uncomfortable with the traditional, salesy approach taught in the mainstream marketing schools. My business model changed lot over the the past 2 years and I am currently re-launching my skincare brand as a one-for-one business. Moreover, I partner with another lovely lady and we started an educational website to encourage Middle Eastern women to live to their fullest potential through providing them with all the resources they need to start their own home-based & small businesses to aid them & their families financially.

I loved that it helped me create a solid foundation that will propel my business.

Through B-School, I met so many kindred spirits that have really helped me grow as a person and as a business. I finished the curriculum in the first round, and always, always want to go back to it and find new things. I loved that it helped me create a solid foundation that will propel my business to whatever heights I wanted. I feel truly blessed and happy with my life everyday. My vision and mission only gets clearer and my husband and I both agree that even though it was a risky decision (we really didn't have much to spare) at the time to join B-School, it was the best decision I ever made in my business and continues to help me grow my connections with people whom I adore and respect.

My new clients valued me and truly appreciated my craft and that was an incredible feeling. Soon money was no longer an issue and I felt free to enjoy life.

I think I was about 16 when I heard the word “entrepreneur.” Once I knew what an entrepreneur was, I knew that was what I was meant to be. My own mom worked at night so she could be with my brother and I during the day and those are the memories I love and cherish. Entrepreneurship to me meant being there for my children when I start to raise a family. It meant having the ability to set my own salary and never wonder if I was at risk of being let go due to factors outside of my control. It was about freedom.

My first month on my own I made around $500 of self-employed income. No where near the amount I needed to match the salary I walked away from. I felt like I was failing. Even worse, I was praised for walking away from “the man” but every day I questioned my decision. Inside, I was scared of looking like a fraud.

After 2 months of making little to nothing, my good friend told me about B-School and how it could help me and my business. I looked into it skeptically… $2,000, I mean, really?! I watched the videos and googled the heck out of it trying to find negative reviews so I could save my money. Ultimately, it was my heart that PULLED me to say yes. I felt like it was time to finally invest in me. I pressed that pink ENROLL button during the very last hour on the very last day of B-School signups and didn’t look back.

After that day EVERYTHING in my life changed. Blessed is the only word that I can say to sum it all up.

During the course of B-School I made back my 2k investment by immediately taking action. This was the momentum that would carry me forward. My new clients valued me and truly appreciated my craft and that was an incredible feeling. Soon money was no longer an issue and I felt free to enjoy life. I was also being looked at as an expert and approached with speaking opportunities. Building a personal brand while helping others do the same was incredibly fulfilling.

In July of 2013, I became fully self-employed for the first time in my life. I now live in a 2 story loft. I work in a beautiful space inside my home. My dream was to live in a space that fueled me creatively, I'm now proud to say I've made that happen. Today, my focus is helping more small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs. I've mastered the one-on-one service and now I want to do more to reach more. That's where the Brand New Nation podcast comes in + the pre-made design shop. I'm thrilled for this next chapter in my life and I know it would have never happened without B-School. B-School was what catapulted me into the lifestyle I only dreamt of, and everyday I am grateful.

I have clear direction in my professional and personal life.

Before B-School I had no website, no niche and no business plan. Two years later I have clear direction in my professional and personal life. What did I gain most from B-School - the knowledge that we all have a gift to share - because only we can.

I am:

  • a published author
  • a health coach specializing in relocation
  • loving my entire life - work, family, self, social
  • thrilled to be doing business in a wholehearted way, supporting and supported by other female entrepreneurs and like-minded people
  • transforming people's lives around the world

Before B-School I was spinning my wheels - working many hours, with minuscule progress. It's hard to believe it's only 18 months since my first round of B-School. I've achieved so much. Not only clarity in what I do - but how I do it. My offerings, marketing, sense of fulfillment and personal life have blossomed with the insights and information of B-School. Added to that of other B-Schoolers, also sharing their unique gift and passion - an unexpected and awesome bonus to the course. Here's to even more personal and professional growth in 2015!

Helped me prove that a disability can't stop me.

Huge life changer. Kind of a long story, but here goes. When I first signed up for B-School back in 2013 I was running my beauty fitness and wellness spa, a brick and mortar business called Happy. I've been in that industry for 18 years and when I got to open my own business I called it Happy because that was my ultimate goal with everything I was doing. However in a small town and providing hands on services was limiting--I wanted to go bigger to spread happiness to the global community. So I signed up for B-School and got to work. Three modules in, a full business on the do, two small children and a whole bunch of overwhelm lead me to reach out to Team Forleo and sadly request a refund as the timing was just not right for me. I submitted my homework and a refund was issued no questions asked. From the parts of B-School I got to experience and the amazing understanding of the team I knew I'd be back.

A year later and my personal circumstances had changed due to a wrist disability. I was no longer able to work hands-on in my business which was a devastating blow. I LOVED what I was doing. The world was telling me something it was time to change directions. So I came running back to B-School and you guys welcomed me with open arms. Since B-School things have really started coming together for me, I published my first book called Baby Got Back, to establish myself and gain some credibility as a lifestyle and weight loss coach for moms. I've been building and rebuilding and rebuilding and rebuilding my website. I've been growing my list, did my first launch and three days ago I started my first virtual program called the 28 Day Happy Healthy Hot Mom Challenge AND I had 13 paying clients sign up! (My goal was 5--smashed it!) It can only get bigger and better from here. And thankful to B-school and all of the other b-schoolers for showing up, leading by example and helping me prove to myself that a disability can't stop me, in fact it's making me show up and live in a much bigger way, sharing my love and knowledge of beauty fitness and wellness with mamas around the world.

I am deeply thankful to Marie for her ability to inspire and nudge me and others into the success that is waiting for us.

I don't know where to begin honestly. Prior to B-School, I felt a little lost, overwhelmed and uncertain of what direction my business way going to take. I felt unsure if B-School would be what I need to take my success to the next level. Would B-School be like all the other programs promising unrealistic results?

I've been fortunate enough to build a solid spa business with loyal clients, but I was undercharging, devaluing my talent, and my marketing sucked. I was not effectively and consistently communicating ( or even knowing) my customers on a deep level. B-School instantly shifted my ability to feel more connected to my clients, and more confident in what I was selling and offering. Now, I know exactly what my clients want, need, and are looking for. I thought I knew this before, but I was all over the board. Fine tuning my offers, and figuring out who my ICA is, dramatically transformed my life and business overnight. I am embarrassed to admit that I did not know what I was marketing exactly. I got lucky in business for the most part, but now I am not relying on luck. I am relying on the skills I learned in B-school to build a rock solid brand.

Also, I had a deep transformation in my self confidence and vision during and after B-School in regards to my coaching practice. During B-School, I felt unclear on how to market to clients who were looking for what I offered as a spiritual success coach. My fear of being to "spiritual" sounding (even woohoo) left me feeling like a fraud when trying to market and write newsletters. I was leaving out my story, my voice, and my unique perspective was being muddled by fear, doubt and confusion. Now that I am clear about who I AM, I have stopped making excuses and I am done with holding back. I don't try to market or please just anyone. I can focus only on the people who desire to have a deep mental, emotional and spiritual transformation so they can succeed in business and life.

The irony is that I signed up for B-School to help my coaching business, but I started to apply the tools I was learning to my spa business, and I have hit the biggest numbers I have ever hit. Currently, I am fine tuning my coaching practice and I have been hired to coach and speak about building business using spiritual tools in several very successful companies since B-School. B-School has changed my life forever. I am deeply thankful to Marie for her ability to inspire and nudge me and others into the success that is waiting for us.

It gave me back my voice.

B-School gave me the most important single thing. It gave me back my voice. I can work from wherever I want.

Before I started B-School, I was desperately looking for a way of improving my professional life. I have built up an interesting career in communications; I work for a big international organisation, but it's not my true calling. I thought about developing my food blog, but I wasn't sure of what I wanted to do. There are so many food blogs out there; it's difficult to find a niche that no one has done before. But some health problems kicked in right before I started B-School that made me completely change my relationship with food. So my blog became a gluten, sugar and lactose free blog. That was a niche I could consider.

I also knew I wanted to build something that would help me make a difference in my community, bring something positive to the world, and create something that had a meaning. That's why B-School's motto resonated so much with me: I had a dream life and I just needed the right tools to materialize it! So I registered to the program, reorganized my whole life so I could study every night and think about a business to develop and… I felt completely overwhelmed! I was in despair but not ready to quit. I was changing business idea every two weeks, rethinking my business model, customer avatar and starting all over again... I followed every advice, read a lot of the books recommended and started joining working groups and discussion groups and conferences for business owners, start-ups, women entrepreneurs: a whole new world opened-up! My mind set started to shift, my thinking was different and clarity started to kick in.

Months after B-School finished, I finally had my revelation - what I could do to bring a positive change to the world. I would develop a program for schools that will empower children to become masters of their diet. Teach them what a healthy way of eating is, involve them in the choice of food they eat, why they eat it, the impact on their bodies, etc. The program would start with 6 year-old's and could be developed for older children and younger children. I proposed it to my children’s school and the headmistress said yes right away! I found a partner to work with (a fellow food blogger and mother who is as passionate as I am about healthy fun food!) and we are developing our program very enthusiastically. Now that other parents are hearing about what we do, they want us to develop a program for their children's schools! I am over the moon! And it doesn't even feel like working and we work on it at night, after work, and after having taken care of our families!

At first, I really thought B-School wasn't for me after all but once I let it sink in, every piece fell into place and I couldn't be happier of what I have achieved today thanks to what I learned in B-School.

Now that we have started developing my healthy fun food program for kids, I am realizing how comfortable it would be to have a full time business on my own. I can work from wherever I want, involve the people I comfortable working with and everything is done on my own terms. And, most of all, I am passionate about what I do! I can't wait until I can go back to my program and work on it! It is an amazing feeling of exhilarating freedom.

I would like to add that there is one thing Marie was particularly right about (she was right about a LOT of things, but this specially stuck with me) B-School is not for everyone. If you are not ready to shift your life around and are not determined to make a change, don’t even try B-School. But if you feel deep down inside your guts that you are not living the life you should be living, then roll up your sleeves and get to work. Even if some of it doesn't make any sense at first, keep on trying! My thing was to listen to the courses over and over again while commuting. I would download them on my smartphone and listen to them while driving to and back from work until something clicked. I would redo the exercises from different angles until achieving what I wanted. But the day I found what I really wanted to do, I was ready. I was so ready, it scared the wits out of my business partner how fast things were going. And I loved it!

I now know that having an online business is more than possible.

Before B-School I was working with one-on-one consultations. My business was growing mostly on word of mouth. Sometimes I had people visiting from the States that wanted to work with me, or I was getting referrals of new clients when I was traveling to the States. So I started thinking it would be great if I could combine my one-on-one consultations with an "online service". And that's where B-School comes in. Before it, I only had an abstract idea of what I wanted, but after going through the whole program, my eyes opened to a whole new life. So I started thinking… what if I only had an online business and I can reach Spanish-speaking women all over the world? So that's been my focus since I started B-School.

Before B-School I didn't have a list (I didn't even know what a list was, opt-in? what is that?). I'm writing my newsletter every week. Before B-School I had a website that I designed on Wix. Now I have a pro website/blog, my readers are starting to engage in conversations at the end of each blog post.

Now that I have Google Analytics in my website, I'm thrilled to know that people from all-over have visited my website: El Salvador, México, Panamá, Colombia, Perú, Chile, Argentina, Spain, Brazil. And people from Guatemala, Panamá, Colombia, México, United States, Italy have subscribed to my list.

I now know that having an online business is more than possible. Thank you Marie, and thank you B-School! It was scary at the beginning (I was the only one from Guatemala taking B-School in 2013, now there are 2 more) but I can say that it changed my life for the better.

I've become the sole breadwinner for my family and in just 18 months.

Before I decided to take B-School my husband had been laid off from his soul crushing corporate job. I hoped and prayed that somehow I could make enough money doing what I loved to save our house and make sure my husband never had to work another corporate job again! Was is possible for me to turn my passion and life's purpose into a profitable business? The short answer is YES! I did it!

You see, before B-School I worked part time as a pediatric acupuncturist for 10 years, but my income from my clinical work wasn't enough to support us. I decided to take B-School to see if I could monetize my blog and bring in some passive income, but I had no idea of the amazing transformation my life and business would take!

Since taking B-School I've become the sole breadwinner for my family and in just 18 months I've grown a business that supports us financially allowing my husband is able to stay home and home school our two boys. I was able to pay our mortgage and I saved our house! I landed a book deal with HayHouse. My husband and I have never been happier! And the freedom my business gives me and the people I've met through B-School have played a huge part in the success of my business.

In nutshell: My first launched grossed $60K and my total sales since starting my training business are up to $200K and I landed a book deal with HayHouse! So, Hell Yeah! I LOVE B-School! Thank You Marie!!!!! Your seriously changed my life and the lives of thousands of children for the better!

As I was going through the program, I had literally a dozen acupuncturists contact me wanting to shadow me at my office and then a lightbulb went off! I could take what I learned in B-school and launch a course in pediatric acupuncture. I discussed it with my husband and we took a calculated risk to pour everything into the success of my course.

Within two months of having this idea I opened the registration for my first course before I even had the course finished. Start before you’re ready, right? I was just hoping that maybe 25 or 30 people would sign up. But I reached out to leaders in my field and shared with them my passion for helping kids heal naturally and they became affiliates who promoted my course as well. I ended up enrolling 161 people in my first course and made $60K!!!!! I wasn't sure if there were enough acupuncturists even interested in my program, but the success of my first launch told me I was on to something. Since then I've launched 2 other programs and relaunched my first program and have earned a total of $200K in 18 months. That's in addition to the income I've earned at my clinic. I landed a book deal with HayHouse and my book is due to be released in the fall of 2016!

In the end the things I'm most proud of is the positive impact I've had in the world. We have so many more acupuncturists working with kids and kids people helped by Chinese medicine. It really warms my heart to be able to support my family by doing good things in the world!

It can catapult a career. No matter your age!

At age 62 and grieving the loss of my hubby of 42 years, not really sure why I joined B-School but so glad I did! I became a sponge not only for info from B-School but learning to open my mind to other modalities and their probabilities...not possibilities. Relying on my B-School FB groups to teach me, I began to go beyond the B-School fences to outside sources...comedy class, acting class (Josh Pais because Marie dated him, he must be good), energy healing, Angel card reading. Everything I have accomplished in 2013 -2014 began with B-School.

Since gaining my confidence to just "do it" with the help of my B-School peeps, my chapter was accepted with co-authors such as Lisa Nichols, SARK, Christine Kloser and 20+ other phenomenal co-authors and on June 24, 2014 achieved #1 International Best Selling status. On July 1, 2014 I began The Quirky World of Mama Char on blogtalkradio, August 23, 2014, on my 63rd birthday my ebook "Jesus and the "G" Spot" hit Best Selling status, my social media presence is now at almost 50,000 followers, my 3rd book based on my participation in the #100HAPPYDAYS will be released within the next month, screenplay and book based on a bucket list my late husband left for me is underway, as well as a book based on my angel experiences "My Guardian Angel's name is Daniel but I call him Freddy" will be released in 2015. I am proof - even when you don't have a service nor widget to promote… B-School can also catapult an entertainer's career. No matter your age!

My life now is amazing.

Before B-School, I was an independent musician who was constantly touring on the road. In one year, I played in the UK, Australia, US and Canada. I was good at building buzz and attracting an audience, but I was struggling to live the life I had always dreamed of. On top of that, I was sick, overworked and unhappy. I woke up and saw that I had two options to make the life I wanted for myself: 1) move to a big city or 2) figure out how to run an online business, so I could live in my small Canadian city, do music and make money.

In 2013, I stumbled upon B-School and realized that this course was exactly what I needed. I needed to get a grip on online marketing to support my musical career. I desired to become a creative entrepreneur and knew that B-School would propel me in the direction of creating the life of my dreams.

I remember how hungry I was for the B-School material. I couldn’t wait for each Monday to get the new lessons. Halfway through B-School, I began a 21 day tour with my all girl band Rosie & the Riveters. Thank goodness there were so many format options for consuming the course material! I’d listen in to the B-School live calls and training while I was driving the tour van or getting my hair and makeup done before a show.

The key to being a successful musician is diversification. Along with performing, I started helping other artists with their marketing plans. Within months, I was attracting a variety of clients from yogis to orthodontists. As my business continued to grow, I continued to use the skills I had learned in B-School. When the next year rolled around, I was itching for more B-School material. Without a doubt, I enrolled in the 2014 B-School. This session was even better and because I’d actually applied what I’d learned the previous year so I could try new things that I didn’t grasp the first go around. As I grow and my business grows, the material continues to teach me more and more.

Over time, I’ve found really unusual ways to marry my love of marketing and my love of music. I started writing songs about running an online business. I also write jingles for other entrepreneurs. I recently found my niche by combining knowledge of building an audience and online marketing with my experience in launching CDs, live events and workshops. I am now a launch strategist.

My life now is amazing. I tour with my band Rosie & the Riveters, but I still get to live close to family. I’m building a business that supports my creativity, my family and my dreams. I am able to use my true strengths to live the life I desire. After taking B-School, my biggest shift has been readjusting what I believe I’m worth. My confidence level has skyrocketed. I no longer believe in “starving artists”. I am a prospering artist. I am able to make a living and a life for myself.

This higher belief in myself has rubbed off on each of the female artists in my band. It’s amazing how these ideas spread. In 2013, Rosie & the Riveters booked over 40 shows in a province with a population the size of 1 million (with no industry support - meaning we do it all ourselves). Each of the Riveters has her own artistic business and those continue to expand as we learn and support each other. In 2015, we have a new album coming out. Our plan is to leverage the online business skills I’ve learned in B-School to expand our audience and keep building our musical careers.

Through my own creative business as a launch strategist, I was able to pay off $30,000 of debt incurred from my career as a touring musician. I raised my income from negative to over $5000 a month. I am now debt-free and have a substantial savings plan. Even my provincial Chamber of Commerce is taking note; I’m a finalist for a marketing award next to casino hotels and construction companies. My husband is happy and fully supportive of my career. Our marriage is better because I have better work/life balance. When I’m not on tour with the Riveters, I am able to spend my weekends enjoying my free time with my family. I went from working 10-12 hour days, 7 days a week as a starving musician to having a balanced Monday-Friday schedule with 6-8 hour work days. Since I am now sufficiently self-employed, I was able to do half of the 2014 course while in Mexico visiting my cousin. This is an example of an entrepreneurial perk that I would have never been able to do, let alone afford, before B-School.

It gave me extreme clarity, I can’t measure how much time I saved.

I quit my corporate job in March 2013, moved to Paris and started to work on my own business. This is when I took B-School as well, though I knew about Marie and B-School for couple of years before that, I only took the program when decided to proceed fully with my business.

I did a Master in Business myself, and funny enough, when I started to think about my online business, I realised I knew nothing. I mean I knew all the business fundamentals, but it was much more applicable to big corporations rather than to launching a one-woman business. So I felt extremely frustrated and overwhelmed. I knew there was so much to do, but I wasn't sure where to start and where I shall invest my efforts and time first. This is where the step-by-step system of B-School came extremely helpful.

I was moving along the program - built my site, created my communication, outlined my (online) Marketing strategy all along the B-School. On top of all those super helpful and very practical knowledge and guidance, a huge value for me was (and is!) a community of like minded people and a very very supportive and positive atmosphere of the program. It is extremely challenging to start an online business alone (and there was nobody around me with whom I could talk about my struggles), so hearing the stories from fellow B-Schoolers, learning that actually you are not alone to figure out that crazy thing about your website, that so many are also frustrated about how they get their first clients and how they communicate first time with the prospects... - this was all so so valuable and I do not think I will be where I am now if I didn't have this community.

B-School gave me such a support and confidence, that I would never have had if trying to make it on my own. It gave me extreme clarity on how to move when creating your business, and I can not even measure how much time I saved. The first 5-6 months of business were very tough of course, but because of B-School I knew I was doing the right thing, and I kept going and eventually it led me to a successful business that I fully live from, delivering fantastic results to my clients (their dreams come true!) and feeling so fulfilled to doing what I love. Because I completed B-School exercises, I know what I do, what is my value proposition and who is my client, I literally attract amazing clients and partnerships and see my business growing every day.

Well, I'm not hitting a 6-figure business mark yet (though I'm close!), for me personally I see all what I do a huge success because I know I created everything myself with no investors, team or anything. I have around 12-15 amazing clients per month, have a very engaged list with 3400 subscribers, and Facebook following with more than 5600 people. This month I became an official partner in Russia of two biggest international organisations who organise the biggest educational fairs all over the world and conduct ranking of the best universities in the world. They are doing fairs in Russia too and I proud that they include me as an official partner in their communication.

And of course, I'm extremely enjoying running my business fully online from any part of the world - when I was starting I was living in Paris with my boyfriend, then we moved to Switzerland, then we travelled in the US, until we came 4 months ago to Bali and are still enjoying here. It is an incredible freedom that your business can give you.

I literally play a module from B-School every day when I go for my walk.

Before B-School I had absolutely zero idea or knowledge what an online business was...but I knew I wanted one! My entire first year I sat on the sidelines and watched other people like a hawk. I followed the modules.

I picked a business model. I made a website... and then proceeded to tell absolutely no one about it. If there was a poster child for fear... I was it.

I went through B School again this year and I coached myself like I would a client and just said I'm here with you and we are going to do this together. I have literally grown into a whole new person. I've lost 40 pounds, gotten sober, been featured on a podcast, blogged for Huffington Post, held seven workshops (as in me SPEAKING in front of a room full of people). I cried at my first workshop (nerves). It was vulnerable and real and every single person in that room has ended up a client.

I've dealt with real world pricing struggles and going from working for free to charging $75 an hour to creating packages at the $500 mark and a new one at the $2,000 mark which 6 months ago would’ve seemed bananas to me! I've also rebranded 3 times!

I literally play a module from B-School every day when I go for my walk. Marie's information is seeping into my bones through osmosis. And it has changed who I am at a cellular level!!! I really am growing into a new version of me. Even writing this now I'm getting emotional because I see how far I've come and I know I have a lot further to go.. and I also know the sky is the limit for me.

I haven't had $50,000 months but I have made my first $5000 in business. I know that may not seem like a huge number but I added up what I've made in the past five months from my business and I'm at $5273 net. My first year I made a big fat goose egg (on account of the terror and all) :) There are a lot of people in B-School who haven't made a penny. There are a LOT of people in B-School scared to be seen. Afraid of rejection, being judged, failure. I've made peace with my big fears and I carry them with me and take action anyway. I'm still scared and uncomfortable on a weekly if not daily basis. I've had to get comfortable with being uncomfortable and action has been a magic elixir for me.

And I really do think that a story like mine, of someone who's gone from fear of being seen to being an active and contributing member of B-School community and in both the online and offline world, would be valuable for those brand new to the online world of business.

I charge premium rates for my coaching sessions and packages.

Prior to enrolling B School, I was a freelance writer that didn't market her services very well, and hid behind the computer screen. I began my journey over 4 years ago when my husband chased a job lead that fell through, and after a friend recommended I begin blogging ( and heck I've always been a writer), I thought it was a good solution to ease the financial burden our family was experiencing.

I was wrong. Trying to monetize my nebulous travel blog was borderline impossible. Although I finally got sponsored post opportunities that paid well, they were few and far between. More importantly, I quickly found that I disliked the specific niche of travel I was focusing on. I rarely guest posted so my list was nonexistent. But over the course of years I was able to hone in on my skills as a social media strategist, specifically with engagement on Facebook and also on Pinterest and Instagram. I still never promoted my services but used them to get writing leads and also on my husband's thriving blog.

Then I joined B School and from day one I realized: why the frick am I not marketing what I do best?! I realized when doing my Start The Right Business work that indeed I was a 'multipod' and after doing the worksheet/questions over and over I realized what people ask me the most about plus what I excel at are multimedia storytelling and social media strategy. I then realized ( like a huge ass AHA!!! moment that came out of nowhere) that most of my friends who asked me for help were holistic entrepreneurs ( yoga teachers, artists, massage therapists, etc) and since I was passionate about holistic health and nutrition, why not use my skills to help these compassionate entrepreneurs that the world so desperately needs?

Thus, Thriving Healer was born. And even before it launched, I had my first client, a health coach. I realized I was in my element (despite that fear I had inside me of self doubt) when we did our first coaching call and I was at ease. I had this, I lived and breathed it. I had years of struggle with my content and social media that had taken me to this very place of certitude and also flexibility. I was confident and could serve my Ideal peeps well, and felt utterly delighted to be of service.

I charge premium rates for my coaching sessions and packages, starting from 250 dollars and up to 10,000 depending on how long a client is working with me and what services I am offering them. I've been featured on the top itunes podcast Lifestyle Architects and on many blogs such as Tiny Buddha, Kind Over Matter, etc. This business didn't even exist before B School!

It gently pushed me into the entrepreneurial career and gave me the freedom I was longing for for such a long time.

I worked for more than 12 years as marketing professional in top Slovenian companies. Most of the time I was in charge of loyalty clubs but started to deep down hate marketing because of my boss's aggressive, salesy and sleazy incentives. I felt that marketing is just about taking money out of poor people's pockets and not giving them anything in return. This hurt as I felt strongly that my life purpose was to help people and make a change in the world. At the end of last year the "Universe" set me free - I was laid off due to the change of the whole crew. First I felt such resentment to marketing that I started looking for a totally new profession. I came across life coaching and realised that this was the best possible suit for me. However I had no experiences with being self-employed. Then one day, I don't really know by what coincidence, I got an email invitation to check out this great advice about modern marketing. As I opened first of the Marie's introductory videos I was instantly hooked. I got goose-bumps as she was totally telling my story.

Even though for someone like me, for a small country like Slovenia, it was really a big step and an important investment I listened to my heart and enrolled. By the end of first week I was in love with marketing again. Even more I started enjoying it and I somehow got the self-confidence that I would be able to pursuit my dreams and make it on my own. I stopped looking for a job and totally dedicated myself to coaching, to getting practice and to setting up my business. I followed Marie's guidance and built and designed two of my internet sites - one for my native country and one for international market. I decided that I have enough knowledge, drive and love to go worldwide. I always wanted to work with people from all around the world and with information that I got in B-School I am totally ready to make my dreams and mission into reality.

B-School was a real turning point in my life. It gently pushed me into the entrepreneurial career and gave me the freedom I was longing for for such a long time. Without Marie I would probably not gather enough courage to step over my cemented values and limiting beliefs and start building the job of my dreams.

I was able to recover, dream bigger and take action to change things in my life.

I am so fortunate that I listened to my instincts that told me to invest in myself by taking B-School in 2011. I was freshly divorced after a 23-year marriage, fired from the 'day job' I thought I had to have to survive (even though it was akin to walking into a box of scorpions every day) and determined to find a way to swim before I sank.

What B-School provided me was the awareness that I already KNEW how to swim. Entrepreneurial rapids were just a different body of water. What came out of that was an expanded view of what's possible. I started, simply hoping to expand my current wholesale business with a local chain of high end, green-leaning grocery stores to maybe 20 more such accounts.

B-School enabled me to redefine what I wanted for my life and how I wanted to contribute my time, expertise and energy, leveraging social media to create VALUE for everyone, all across the board. What came out of that, and I'm still happily working toward, is the vision to engage consumers of my products with the places and faces that provide the raw materials that go into the products they are purchasing. I am creating healthy, innovative, luxuriously effective products for people that engages them in knowing where their money is going and the quality of life it's contributing to on the other end of the consumerist equation. This includes gorgeous, 100% biodegradable packaging, sustainable practices, fair wages and incorporating as a 'B' Corp.

I will create a blog that provides a window into the communities of the people from whom the raw materials are ethically sourced. I will develop my company to fulfill the desire to continue traveling and developing connections that utilize my business as a 'micro-philanthropic' enterprise. I will be switching to contract manufacturing and online sales as well as national distribution.

I was able to recover, dream bigger and take action to change things in my life. And I really mean it when I say that had I not taken the risk to join the ranks of B-School, that I might never have given myself permission to DREAM BIG and expect it to HAPPEN.

Lastly, I've made wonderful 'internet' friends via B-School, too....there is such a wonderful community building around this heart centered way of engaging with the world and of doing business. It's incredibly nourishing, supportive, happy and engaged. We're doing GOOD for the world and inspiring others to join us. It brings me so much joy and energy! THANK YOU!

Becoming an entrepreneur literally saved my life.

In 2010 I had a stress-induced heart attack due to a horrible corporate environment. When you have too much adrenaline in your system, it hits a tipping point and binds to the walls of your heart, shutting it down. It's called Takotsubo syndrome. People do NOT realize how dangerous stress can be, and how close they are to dying when they allow themselves to exist in a life that doesn't fit them. It's not just about being an entrepreneur and living the dream. Becoming an entrepreneur literally saved my life. I had a 15 month old son, a husband I loved dearly, and I felt that I wasn't giving them the best of me. Heck, I wasn't even giving myself the best of me back then. We all deserved better than that.

In March of 2012, heart pounding and feeling like it was a huge leap into the unknown, I used my bonus money to pay for B-School. It was the best thing I ever did. I spent the next two years building my web design business while working full time. By November of 2013 I had five contractors working for me and had brought in 30k over six months while working a 6 figure corporate job. I volunteered for a layoff and was severanced out in Feb 2014. I had been a corporate trainer for 20 years and realized that the "right business" for me was combining my passion for teaching and my obsession for WordPress and make THAT my business. While I designed online courses for a living, I find that the magic happens for me when I'm live in a room with my students. So I'm largely building my business through live in-person trainings and speaking gigs.

When I worked my corporate job we lived paycheck to paycheck - at the 6 figure level. Now that I own my own business, I consistently have several months cushion in the bank. Looking back, it astounds me how I was unable to save money simply because I knew that paycheck was coming. I'm the big breadwinner of my family and the thought of losing our home and not being able to meet our financial obligations was the biggest barrier to my leaving my job. It turns out that the biggest obstacle became one of the biggest blessings in my switch to entrepreneurship. Another goal I had in mind that day I purchased B-School was to be working for myself by the time my son started kindergarten. I didn't want him to do before and after school care. I wanted to be able to go on field trips and be there to get him off the bus. I met that goal 7 months early! While there are many rewards to living the entrepreneurial life, that has to be my favorite reward!

I have a unique story because I have married the teachings that Marie offers in B-School with a brick and mortar business.

Bloom is a brand new business model that does not exist anywhere else in the world. I created Bloom originally because my mom died of breast cancer at a young age, and I saw so clearly how women tend to give themselves completely to others and not care for themselves. After having children, I started to see myself going down this path as well, which inspired me to create a space that stands up for women in a whole new way. I am creating new fitness models and programs to help women stay accountable to themselves, and shifting the current paradigm so that women see the value in putting our own needs first. Everything feels better when we do. What I really do every single day is help women come home to themselves.

I have a unique story because I have married the teachings that Marie offers in B-School with a brick and mortar business. I don't see many people (if any) doing this in my industry. Before B-School, I was struggling to share with the community what Bloom Retreat really is. My newsletters, for example, were boring standard emails (like most other yoga studios) listing the current workshops and offerings that we had. After B-School, I started to write and share my personal story. I shared the story about my mother dying of cancer, and my hardships as a woman and mother behind my brand. People started listening in a new way.

Through my stories I have empowered hundreds of local women to start speaking up for themselves and sharing their own stories. It has been incredibly healing for me to turn my hardships into power for others.

In addition, Bloom Retreat has become something completely different and special. Bringing my personal story to the brand has helped the business stand out as a thought leader in the industry. I have learned a great deal about women and how the mainstream fitness industry is actually fueling women’s insecurities and fears. In response to this, I am launching a whole new fitness model in January 2015, based on community, accountability, and real change. I have also tapped into the local Bay Area B-School community and I am leading co-working masterminds at Bloom, so that women can come together in person to continue supporting each other. While working virtually and online is amazing, I think as a culture we are craving contact with other people, and Bloom is providing this hub for women to connect in person.

This past year I have led two in-person extended retreats at Bloom, each of which brought in $30k. This was not something I even dreamed about before B-School. B-School helped me to see my Blue Ocean strategy and how our regular yoga classes at Bloom are a funnel for my high end programs that bring in the money. I am now creating the entire business model around this, so that everything we offer funnels into high end programs. Since B-School in 2013, Bloom’s overall revenue has doubled and I have a 3-year plan to continue this rate of growth. In the next few years we will be creating an online presence for the business as well, so that Bloom can serve as the local hub, but we will also offer online training and courses for women globally. I see Bloom Retreat franchises and lots of expansion. I thank B-School for catalyzing this rapid growth, and most importantly, for allowing me to see the truth and power in my personal story.

Gave me the insight to get to know my customer & how to serve them better.

Before B-School I was running three businesses and wasn't exactly sure which business was going to have the most success; but I was sure whatever I would learn in B-school I could apply to one or maybe all of the businesses I had at the time. I was hesitant about investing in B-school because I wasn’t generating a lot of revenue monthly; less than $3,000 per month. I took a leap of faith and invested in myself.

I didn't have a lot of clarity and direction at the time. With my herbal business, Euphoric Herbals, in particular I was probably shipping about 60 orders a month. My product line still was very "homegrown" and I was experimenting with a lot of different things from product development and how to find customers. I was struggling with how to market my business both in my community and online. B-school gave me the insight to get to better know my customer and how to serve them better. I also realized that I had more to give to my customer than I realized and that my herbal business had far more potential than I knew. I believe the process of investing in myself allowed hidden potential and skills to surface. With my new clarity, I'm focusing solely on one business and no longer trying to "do everything" or offer "everything to everyone". It brings a sense of tremendous freedom!

In regards to my growth, I doubled my revenue from the previous year prior to B-School in 2014. In 2015, my business is projecting 5x revenue from 2014. In 2015 I grew my handmade business to multiple six-figures. My sales per month now are what I made in an entire year before B-School! For any artisan and crafter this is tremendous. We now ship about 500 orders per month. Additionally, I have grown my team from one part-time assistant to 3 part-time assistants. I have now shipped to 37 countries and counting. The amazing thing is that all of this growth has happened without any paid advertising or affiliates at all, completely word of mouth! Lastly I have outgrown working from my home and I'm building a facility for my business in 2015. Whoa nelly!

What surprised me the most through the process of B-School and my own evolution in my business; I had an epiphany to create a business & marketing course specifically for handmade artisans. I don’t believe any of this would have been possible without B-School!

Helps me focus on what is important.

My career has been a marine biologist and marine ranger who loved my job however, after a boss change, I was finding working for the Government difficult. We live in a tiny town with limited other job prospects and saw Marie while looking for an idea for a business. Seeing that she had B-School, I wondered if I could create an online course about how I recovered from alcoholism. I did B-School part time and soon realised that my hubby had the authority factor already as an accomplished and respected angler for barramundi (a prized Australian sportsfish). We taught ourselves, photoshop, video editing, website development, video hosting, facebook and youtube. Everything! Yikes it was a head spin and soon became obvious I needed to do it full time. So I quit my job two months before our first launch after exhausting all my long service and leave. We launched Barra Basics, our online fishing course for barramundi in September 2014 and the response was amazing. The students raved about it, catching barra within a week of doing the course. Some of they guys went so far to say it changed their lives! What a confidence booster. That initial launch generated $70,000 in sales, most of which we fed straight back into the business. And even better, we are able to spread our message of catch and release sustainable fishing to a whole new audience of anglers. The students raved about it. Some of they guys went so far to say it changed their lives! We are very catch and release oriented and are spreading the word that you don't have to kill it to experience the thrill.

The B-School training helps me to realize Rome wasn't built in a day and to focus on what is important. We are working on automating more, building contacts in the industry and promoting Ryan Moody the brand even more. Prior to B-School we had an old coded website that just sat there with no way of collecting emails. Now we have a blog, an active fishing community and a cranking facebook page not to mention over 240 peeps have done the course equating to $265,000 in revenue in our first year. WOW!

Confidence to really go for it and never give up on my dream.

I'm a French shoemaker, and with my mum I've created a fashionable & functional shoe brand. Our mission is to revolutionize the shoe industry by crafting beautiful shoes for women yearning for extra room in the toe box area. By leaving our corporate jobs, we risked everything to make every woman's life sweeter one pair of shoes at a time :)

Before B-School, I was struggling to find the right online marketing strategy for our business. I used to try many ideas all at once, but never fully executed any. I remember feeling lost in what to do to establish a real consistent strategy that I would love doing and that could work in the future. Also, consistency has always been a HUGE issue for me, I'm bad at discipline in general and sticking to a schedule was a real challenge for me everyday. I turned to B-School to help me find some clarity + guidance on what to do next.

Professionally, I put in place an editorial calendar and I never miss to send a newsletter (like never!). I put a sign up bar on my site to grow my list, I changed my writing to make it more personal and I follow almost every piece of advice Marie gave me. I tripled my mailing list!! Before B-School, I never thought of putting a sign up bar on my site. I send out a newsletter twice a month and I never miss a deadline. Our sales increased by using the "sense of urgency" Marie taught us. I had my 1st interview on an American blog (this is huge for us, especially being a small French start up).

Personally, B-School gave me the confidence to really go for it, to reach the next level. and to never give up on my dream.

I needed an education in having an online business. As a extremely busy mom of 4 kids, I don't have the time to "go back to school".

I signed up for B-School because I needed an education in having an online business. As a extremely busy mom of 4 kids, I don't have the time to "go back to school". Frankly, the idea of traditional school is not appealing at all. B-School offered the flexibility that I needed, the most current business ideas and a amazing community of women. I had no idea that so many wonderfully generous, encouraging, smart, funny, loving, women existed. Really, after you have been home for 13 years — breakfast, lunch, dinner, laundry... living a life of your dreams gets pushed to the back burner.

I knew that I wanted to make a change. I understood what my gifts and talents were—but I didn't have a vehicle to move my ideas out into the world. First I found Marie. Then I found B-School. B-School seemed like a risk. I won't lie. My mind played all the "what if" games and I wondered if my message was just too dorky for the world. I did it anyway. I signed up. I've never looked back.

I went through B-School very overwhelmed. The women were younger, smarter, thinner and were making these huge strides in their business. I wasn't. One of Marie's videos lit the fire in me—I don't even remember which one now—but everything changed. I stopped comparing myself. The words "do your own work". Marie says "stay in your own lane" and I started doing that. Game changer.

I discovered that I can blend my love of food, my simple recipes, my innate ability to understand where people are struggling to create healthy meals. My website addresses these ideas via how-to food videos, blog posts that educate and share simple recipes. I have found my niche and my tribe is slowly finding me. I'm fine with slow. I'm not a full time business woman. I have read Marie's "Start The Right Business" several times, each time I gain more clarity on what I want. I am creating the life I love by being a Mom first, blogger/author second and divinely inspired jewelry designer.

My goal is to be a location independent author and designer and pay my bills. In my previous life (before kids) I made the 6 figures, now I have different financial goals and different life goals. My motivation comes from living a life that doesn't cause harm to any living thing, that supports the environment and puts love and light into the world.

B-School have given me back my life. I feel smart, creative, I feel young, I have lost weight and I'm healthier physically and mentally than I have been in a very long time. For me, B-School isn't just about my business, it's about my life.

..made me think bigger, makes me see possibilities instead of problems and got me out of the poor-artist mindset.

As a freelancer I teach contemporary dance in Holland, Belgium, Singapore, Mexico. Furthermore I teach chi kung and tai chi, which is my personal spiritual and energetic practice.

The past 8 months I have spent in Bali. I was tired from working working working, earning little money and trying to make it as a choreographer in Holland. I thought an online business would never fit my skill set, because I work with dance and theatre which are such physical things. One day, even before B-School started, the penny dropped: I can expand the part of making educational programs in performing arts for primary schools. Online content, ready made classes. Here I can harvest all my experience and hard work from the past 10 years and turn it into an online product that will serve many many children and teachers and brings Performing Arts into regular education, something I believe to be very beneficial.

B-School gives me the confidence that it is possible and anytime I doubt that I go back into B-School materials, office hours, the Community group. B-School definitely made me think bigger, makes me see possibilities instead of problems and got me out of the poor-artist mindset.

Today my business is in 6 figures growing to 7.

In 2011 I was a newly single mom after a 14 year marriage that strangled my creativity and potential. After the divorce I was determined to make sure my business, myself and my children thrived. I had a studio in my house and was in "business" for 22 years already.

That was 4 years ago when I was trying to survive. Today my business is in the 6 figures with goals of growing to a 7 figure business within the next 4 years.

My customers were mostly local and business was less than steady but I knew what I was doing was needed and I was great at what I did. My customers now are global and have included Apple, Comcast, Commando, PNC, Carat, Magnum Photos, SelectNY, Yahoo!, The Vatican, Chobani, Bash, Benue State Government in Nigeria, many many photographers and galleries in the world, architects, high end real estate investors and more!

I was a team of one, now I have 3 people working for me and have a small team of part time workers who come in when we get crushed with rush jobs (which is often!). Since B School I have moved in over 4 tons of new equipment and continue to buy equipment that helps production speed up-even though we do everything by hand. I have a studio manager who takes care of billing, invoicing and all that biz stuff that this creative person rather watch someone else do.

Our books are beautiful and organized. I have zero debt. I am also putting my son through college on my own. My daughter is applying to colleges this year and I have no concerns about being able to pay for her college.

Professionally I am so much more confident in my work and because of B-School I really stepped it up a notch or two in the high quality of products we create. Overall, business continues to grow and I see so much potential in new products and offerings on a greater scale. I do not think there is anyone else doing the kind of work we do here.

I teach on a larger scale than I thought possible!

Two years ago I was promoted in my school system to be an assistant principal. I was stoked. I was living the dream. Not only was I living in a foreign country (I am American, was living in the United Arab Emirates in Dubai), here was my chance to effect change in a community on a larger scale. While I loved being in my art classroom, I felt like my reach to help empower people was dwindling. I thought being an assistant principal would change that. It didn't. Instead, the stress of the role was so intense I grew very ill. As much as I loved the people I was working with, I feared I was going down the wrong path, my health a clear indicator I wasn't doing what I'm here on this earth to do. I began to realize that my side project, Artist Think, may be that answer.

I'd been writing for Artist Think for several years at this point. I heard people could make money online, but I didn't know how. So I focused my energy on interviewing interesting creatives from all walks of life and sharing strategies for creative success.

On a particularly difficult day at my job I looked at the principal, laughed, shook my head and said, "Days like today I wish this was taken out of my hands." I didn't want to quit, but on that day I wished for a way out. Within 1-2 hours of making that statement my fiance called. He told me he was offered a job transfer to the country of Oman, to the city of Muscat. I realized then that Artist Think was my future.

We had a whirlwind next 6-8 months. We got married in Scotland, then went back to Dubai where we waited for the move and our paperwork to go through for residency. I began researching what it meant to run an online business. And that's when I discovered B-School and Marie Forleo.

Being able to take B School has completely empowered me. Now I understand the steps to growing my online presence, creating content and resources that support my ideal customer. Now I get to teach on a much larger scale than I ever thought possible! And I'm connecting with people all over the world because of my mission. And I can do it from anywhere in the world.

My husband is Canadian and I'm American. Both of us have a great desire to travel the world. His job affords us many benefits and opportunities, but it also meant sacrificing mine to move to Muscat. No longer do we have this fear of choosing one's career over the other. I can run my company as a location independent entrepreneur and as long as we have internet, I'm good to go!

Since B School, I have had people approach me to be online teachers (Entheos, my first class was in October), people ask me to review their books, been interviewed and quoted all over the place. I've also been sponsored to review programs. Most importantly my introverted self knows how to put myself out there. Just recently an artist I discovered via NPR agreed to an interview with me; before B-School I would never have the nerve to reach out and ask.

My life feels full of exciting opportunity again and much of it is thanks to Marie Forleo and B-School. THANK you.

We have income to buy (pretty much) anything.

I own a small and growing, diversified farm where I put people who are struggling with health in touch with food that heals their mind + body. Before B-School I knew I had a great thing going - business sales were doubling every year. But... I was scattered, overworked, unfocused, didn't know exactly who to market to so I tried to reach everyone. This worked - sales still grew but my life was chaotic, unbalanced and headed toward disaster probably in stress related illness. I had probably plateaued in my sales at that point because I lacked the focus, skills, and super importantly - the mental and emotional states to continue to do what I needed to grow the business. And I needed to grow to reach a sustainable income.

My gross sales have continued to expand steadily. Due to the income I've been able to continue building the business - expand our farm from 5 acres to 75 acres, purchase the necessary equipment to do so, purchase the livestock to fill projected sales. When I took B-School in 2013 I was set to make $100,000 in sales. End of 2014 we will be at least at $200,000. Again gross, not net, but it makes for a nice life. After taking B-School I now have the resources to continue to expand. I now have 4 employees that I pay very well compared to other farm laborers - one of them is my assistant that is helping to build the business by supporting me in the office. I can finally stop work at 5:00 PM and stick to that. I've trained my customers that I won't answer emails/calls on weekends. We take Sundays off from anything but basic work that needs to be done to keep the animals alive. We travel regularly - 2 weeks in the summer and a week at spring break, a few days here and there throughout the year. Didn't take a vacation the first 4 years of my business!! Now I'm always planning the next one thanks to B-School :) And we have the income to buy (pretty much) anything we want. Never had this in the past - scrimped and was VERY cheap my whole life!!

Almost two years later I am living a dream.

I felt there must have been something wrong with me. I had switched from a long time position teaching art and was now an at home mother while my husband supported us. All I kept thinking was about how many other women would die to be in my position, sitting around baking cake. I hate cake. Like any good catholic girl this came with the maddening crush of guilt that I wanted more than I had. The truth was- that there were dreams and goals I left on the table. The truth was - I hadn't yet had a chance to be what I always wanted to be when I grew up.

When I did my research on B-School I wanted someone to guarantee me that this was the right choice, that this was going to work for me. It was too much responsibility to bare alone to know I could be given the tools to pursue my dream and learn that it actually wasn't for me. It was about taking a risk. It was almost too much fear and at the same time I couldn't go without knowing.

Here's the kicker, I wasn't a life coach or programing apps, I wanted to be guaranteed that this model for online leverage marketing can work for.....wait for it.... art. I can't think of anything more unsuccessfully valued and understood than the business of making a living as an artist. And like many creatives, I had no idea about how to fit in ALL the things I make and do that are pieces of me into ONE business? Ok, I was asking too much here. What program on earth could actually answer these questions and do all this? I was insane and obsessed and yet I still kept emailing my questions over to Team Forleo.

Almost two years later I am living a dream. I know that sounds like such bullshit but let me lay it down for you. I have two studios, one for painting, one for jewelry with an office in Cold Spring. NY. These physical spaces are a huge accomplishment for me. After being a homebound mom, the fact that I have spaces and places of my own that I come to and focus is paramount! It's also a sign of the growth and dedication I have to myself and businesses. That is right , I said "businessES".

Not only do I set my own hours but I balance both disciplines of art and jewelry, gaining recognition by leaps and bounds. At this time I am in several stores and preparing to exhibit in my first national trade show to expand my work from coast to coast. I call the shots. I am driven by my creative moons and talents and am securely growing the right opportunities in communities of people who value the arts and the high end handmade because B School taught me to attract them. B School taught me how to attract ANYTHING I want. I wake up and decide if I am going to make a couture gemstone collar or follow through on a new idea for a painting. I feel like a celebrity in the way my drive has shifted from push energy to pull energy. I am attracting all the right clients and people.

I feel that my gifts are wanted and needed. I did not FEEL that before. Make no mistake, any success I have is because I was willing to face my short comings. This is the part that no one could do for me or guarantee success, not Marie, nobody, I had to take the reigns. I had to challenge my own sense of value for who I was and what my work was worth. This is the single most significant change I can speak to. What is the worth of a happy purpose driven loved one? Just ask my amazing husband and the biggest fans in my son and daughter.

There have been an eventful year of many great "firsts", sales, shows, awards, press... but there was this one day last winter that really got me and got me good! My husband brought in the mail and handed me this odd shaped envelope. I opened it up and from the official seal to the heavy gloss type paper I was a little frozen. I was being awarded the 2014 Best of Westchester for Specialty Jewelry. I looked up at him and asked if he printed this out! I really thought this was not real. All along I had no idea who had their eye on me and where I was being noticed. Westchester Magazine covers the first county above the five boroughs in NYC. The entire Hudson Valley lives and dies by this magazine. A-Listers reside here from the Clintons to half of NY royalty. This issue alone residents live and die by! Now I am on this list of The Best of Westchester. OMG!

This is a far cry from where I was before B-School. I used to sell my work with what I called the "self esteem discount". This completely explains the groveling desperate scarcity nature of selling before B-School. When a person would magically appear interested in my work so much that they were willing to pay me money for it. I was so grateful and in gratitude barely wanted to take money for this person's validation of my work. "You like it? Take two!" Oh my God! It is hilarious now to think about it.

I can ramble on and on. I have to thank Marie and all of Team Forleo! It would be a huge honor to reach farther and wider than ever before to encourage other self doubting women to know it's not too late to be what you wanted to be when you grow up.

Being able to serve a need with your best talents and create a good balance for your family is truly living a satisfying dream.

Before B-School, I was working a full time corporate job while this little blessing of the Fire Wife Sisterhood was wildly and organically growing on the side. I had no idea where it was going as it sprung up out of nowhere from my freelance work. I had started to pay a very high dollar business coach to learn skills to that were outside of my corporate experience and grow this mission but that coach dumped me, telling me that if I pursued the non-profit path I was taking a poverty mindset and would be making only $20,000 per year. B-School was my next attempt to take a fresh look at everything and I felt this was the last place I would throw my money before just giving into a corporate career that paid well but did not match my need for flexibility with the family nor satisfy my thirst to do more good in the world.

I blocked my calendar and fully engaged and B-School did not disappoint. Marie's approach goes deep, brings clarity, doesn't promise quick wins, gives away amazing secrets no one else is sharing and gave me the structure and framework I needed to see things more clearly.

Today, I have completely left the corporate world, have received our federal non-profit status, and the growth has not slowed. Our brand is recognizable across the fire service and I've been a speaker at nearly every major fire conference and published in their journals. We've been able to go deep with our program offerings to meet the needs of so many. Every single day someone tells me that this saved their marriage and/or brought them to the best friends they never had previously in their life.

Being able to serve a need with your best talents and create a good balance for your family is truly living a satisfying dream. My only hunger now is to reach even more marriages in need.

I am more focused, efficient, vocal about my dreams and goals, my desires for work and my family.

Things were great before B-School. I didn't join B-School to become a success, I joined to become more successful. Focus my goals, expand and grow, to become better. I have always worked for myself, selling soda when I followed the Grateful Dead, starting a soap company at 23 with $30.00 that with my first order I turned into a few hundred in sales and it went from there, owning two companies before I was 30 years old. I will always work longer and harder, focused, do not care about what my peers think, etc.. I just wanted to be home with my kids and I was willing to do whatever it took.

Before B-School I was plugging along well. I was happy and successful, working my ass off. After B-School I am more focused, efficient, vocal about my dreams and goals, my desires for work and my family. I am more present with my family and business. I am more strongly rooted to sticking to my business core. I can engage more effectively. I wish I had enrolled years ago. I have always hustled and worked harder than everyone else I knew, I taste it and want it more, but now I am a more effective hustler, I am better at taking time off, being more efficient with my time and my output has increased. I completed a book I was slated to complete, then the publisher asked for another in 3 months and I completed that. I started a new branch of my business, added materials and services and really streamlined. I really believe in sustainability, mothers having it all and living in a way that works for them. You will never hear my telling someone they can't, instead I will show them 100 ways they can.

Brag Moment! I bought a Mercedes BlueTech Diesel sedan for my husband, 50 mpg, yeah!!! A house for my teenage son to live in while he is in college. Paying for college in cash, so we don't take out loans. Land to retire on. In addition to increasing my earnings almost $100,000.00 this year so far! I believe this growth will only continue with the additional services I am offering and the fact that I work with all students and clients one on one. That is so important to me, and I have been able to sustain this, in addition to have trainers who make really lovely incomes for themselves. I live mortgage free and am able to donate to charities I feel strongly about. Not only that I am at every football game, and practice for my youngest son, I homeschool both of my children, and used this program to make our lives smoother and more involved. I am able to share and do special things for family and friends. I am not yet 40 years old and I will be making over a million a year if I have it my way, by the time I am 43 years old.

I know that I will come back to the material year after year and take something new away from it each time.

I have struggled a great deal with fear of marketing. I am a fairly shy and introverted person, and I also really believe in the value of humility. I had a lot of fear and admittedly some judgement about marketing gurus and self-help proponents. I've often felt that many of them create more harm than good. I was very skeptical when I started the course, but desperate to move away from a studio whose key message was absolutely contrary to what I believed in. I didn't necessarily trust Marie when I started, but the affiliate who recommended her was someone I deeply like and admire, so I took a huge leap.

I have to admit to finding B-School quite overwhelming, but I never felt that it wasn't helpful. Since finishing I have started a regular newsletter, hired an assistant, and connected with some amazing people. I've come to realize that Marie really is genuine and walks her talk. I've received a lot of value from the weekly pep-talks (the Marie TV segments) and regularly forward them to my friends. I know that I will come back to the material year after year and take something new away from it each time. I don't have concrete numbers or figures, and I know I have a very long road ahead of me, but I have B-School to thank for a huge shift in my attitude, and for that I will be forever grateful.

Becoming an entrepreneur literally saved my life.

Before B-School I was working both a full-time, 9-5 job and a part-time job, trying to keep up with rent and student loans. Around the same time I learned of you, Marie I had been feeling this immense urge to change my life. I didn't know exactly how or why, but I knew something had to change. Not that my life was bad though. I liked my jobs, I had a great relationship, and was living in a city I really enjoyed. But still, something felt unsettled.

I remember sitting at my computer, sweating profusely as I hit the "pay now" button on B-School. It was the most money (that of which I didn't truly have) I'd ever spent at one time. And I'd never before paid for any program like B-School (haven't since, actually. I just keep enrolling in yours).

The world of online business was completely new to me but it struck a chord like nothing ever before. I'd stay up late watching your training modules and get up early before work to put the lessons into play. I'd never been more excited or exhausted in my life.

Less than a year later I quit my 9-5 job AND my part-time job, and started my own consulting and freelance business (along with a few other side-projects). I knew I wanted to work remotely so that I could travel. So I started brainstorming ways to do that. In the process I ended up coming up with the idea for the project that took me out of my apartment and moved me into a renovated G20 sports van.

Will Travel For Vegan Food was born and I set out on a solo, 2-year-long road trip to try and eat at every vegan restaurant in the US. As of July 2014 I have visited all 50 states, dined at over 547 vegan restaurants, and am soon to become a first-time published author. I mean, WOWie!! :)

Fast forward to today and I'm writing to you from the Big Island of Hawaii before I relocate to Chicago.

All the while Marie, it's been you who has been a guiding and inspiring force throughout the journey that has taken place from the time I first learned of you to this moment here, as I type these words. While I don't have much in the way of financial numbers to share, what I do have to thank you and B-School for is the kick in the pants to go out and make some real changes in my life. To take actionable steps to see those feelings and intuitions through. While I may not be swimming in dolluh-bills (YET!), I do feel more 'at home' in this life I've created for myself, than ever before. I feel emotionally, spiritually, and even financially free. And ya know what, that's really something. :)

My biggest takeaway though, Marie - and what I continue to learn from you and each year of B-School - is that... wait for it.. "everything is figure-out-able." ;)

I do not report to anyone and my days are often flexible. Sometimes I work fewer hours, or take whole days off in the middle of the week to go snorkeling or lava tube hiking. This life is made possible by all you do, Marie. By feeding that spark in me those few years ago. Thank you, thank you, thank you. xoxo

My revenue has more than doubled every single year since 2011.

In December of 2011, I was laid off from my full time corporate job, which we took as a sign to go full-time with my photography business. I was terrified. I had zero money, and when I read about B-School, I had to work with my husband to even afford doing it - it was a HUGE chunk of change for me. I had never spent that much on growing my business, and the investment scared me more than anything.

The investment was well worth it, several times over. While I admit, I was never really on top of things, I was always a little behind - I still paid attention! And I have gone back year after year to learn more and pick up even more. B-School is by far one of the best things I have ever done for my business. It was a complete mindset change, from "well I guess I'm a professional" to really knowing what the hell I was doing, and owning my business.

My revenue has more than doubled every single year since 2011. This is my first year with six figure revenue, and I'm SO proud that we moved into a downtown studio in April! While my services require me to be local, so I can't have the work from anywhere mantra all the time, I have put most of my business online so that I can do SOME work from anywhere. My family and I travel consistently, and I have the flexibility to make my own schedule. I am able to be home most days when my son gets home from school - and am expecting our second child - and can BUILD my business around that, instead of working on someone else's maternity timetable.

I first heard about B-School in 2011, when I was just getting started. As a tech company, I didn't think it was the right fit! Boy, was I wrong. Having gone through a handful of other coaching programs by the time I actually enrolled, I was more than ready for Marie. It wasn't so much that she guaranteed to show us step-by-step exactly what to do... but that she gave us a lot of great information and then really encouraged us to do it OUR way.

I reached six figures for the first time.

When my clients ask me how long I've been in business I tell them that I got my guide license and started being a freelance 14 years ago, but I didn't get a website until 8 years ago, and then 2.5 years ago I took an online business training that took me where I am: top rated on Tripadvisor, organizing over 500 tours a year, full redesign of my website (twice!) including now online bookings, running a weekly newsletter with 1000 subscribers. And I've gone from being just myself to adding 3 assistants and a team of 9 guides.

My first B-School year I doubled my invoicing. The next year, I reached six figures for the first time. This year I've already invoiced €200,000. For the nature of my business, a lot of it goes to pay guides and drivers, but I calculate this year I could afford to pay myself a €5000/month salary! And having finally found the right assistant to take care of our emails for me, I'm taking my life back and have time to go to the gym again in the evenings. And I'm taking weekends and Wednesdays off, too (VERY rare for a tour guide!). Plus I was able to buy a €7,000 Cocomat bed (one of my dreams!) and I noticed my energy levels rising in less than a week.

I am making a difference in the lives of others.

My life was fine before B-School. I had a successful 32 year old business. I was happily married with 2 successful children and 3 grandchildren. My parents lived in Florida, and my son, a physicist, lived in England. It was hard to travel and visit. It was really expensive and it was hard to take time off work.

I was an Interior designer and supported my family with my business. In 2009 I got pretty sick and changed the way I ate to affect my health. I became a health coach...knowing that I couldn't really BE a health coach...but to learn more. It was then I got the idea to help other health coaches. My big dream was to build businesses for health coaches - like an "almost franchise"...something they could walk into and start coaching. (I am working in that direction now).

My bigger dream was to be able to work from anyplace and visit my son and his kids and my parents. This program not only taught me how to conduct a healthy business online...it connected me to people who have enriched my life both personally and professionally. I consider my experience in b-school one of the most valuable investments I ever made. I more than made my money back by the 2nd week and now...well...now it is priceless.

A funny story. I didn't tell my husband how much B-School cost - I knew he would flip a gasket and I knew I was going to do it...s o we just skipped the gasket part. About 10 months after I started… he asked me how much it cost. I told him and he sighed and said "worth every penny".

I would still be in brick and mortar.

There would be no The Health Coach Group without Marie.

I would not have been able to spend weeks with my dad a couple months before he died - I would have missed it and it was good time.

I would still be relying on skype 12 months a year instead of getting real life in person hugs from my grandkids without Marie.

I would be missing out on a lot of great new relationships with B-Schoolers if not for Marie.

This is a low level part - (but still fun)...compared to all the others... I would still be driving a Saturn instead of a BMW that makes me smile when I pull away from stoplights.

My work also enables 12 other people to have incredible income and I help 1600 health coaches a year learn business and set up prosperous businesses with programs that transforms the lives of 1,000's of people. Every boomer career person's dream. I am making a difference in the lives of others. Life doesn't get much better than this.

I doubled my income again, and ended up bringing home almost exactly what I had earned at my full-time magazine job, while still only working half-time.

I left a full-time job as a magazine editor in 2011 to have my first child, and I knew I didn't want to go back; 60+ hour weeks, a psychopathic boss and very low pay weren't fun without a kid, and sounded even LESS fun with an infant.

I wanted to start my own business, and my husband agreed that we could give it a year to see how it went. So I started a blog based on one of my print columns, and enrolled in B-School. The blog attracted modest attention but really never grew beyond a few thousand page views per month. I had picked a niche of budget-minded consumers, and was having a REALLY hard time selling them anything!

That first year went really poorly. I made about $5,000 for the entire year (and much of that was from freelance writing gigs I picked up). But by the end of the year, I had a new idea. My husband and I sat down and had a heart-to-heart, and agreed that I could try again. The catch? He challenged me to triple my income.

In 2012, I started over with B-School and a new business idea: to put what I knew about writing and what I had learned about blogging to work for other people. It took off like a rocket! I had my first client almost as soon as I had a website up. It wasn't the kind of overnight success you hear about where people hit six figures in their first six months, but it was success on my terms. I easily met my husband's challenge — while only working part time and staying home with my baby.

In 2013, I doubled my income again, and ended up bringing home almost exactly what I had earned at my full-time magazine job, while still only working half-time.

Now, in 2014, I'm on track to double my income AGAIN, earning double my full-time salary I left behind — and still only working about 20 hours a week. I'm living the dream!

Priceless! A Million and one heartfelt thanks to you Marie and your Team!!

I opened my own private practice nine years ago. I help a lot of women, who often come from very far away because other doctors could not solve their problems, but I was not happy when I decided to join B-School. I was working far too long hours, was not earning much money, paying a lot for staff that was not really working effectively - like Marie puts it: Is it a Business or a hobby? - and was not happy with the dynamics of my team. I was looking for a way to quit, difficult with a lot of debts in the bank for building a private practice from scratch.

My goal was to start e-courses on women’s health. But going through B-school and especially heeding the spiritual aspects of success, I decided first to bring my existing business on track. I have a very special gift and education to help some women who otherwise suffer, and moreover I love taking care of patients and solve medical mysteries. But I got wise on the conditions I need, what kind of team I want and have a close look on finances. Went for three weeks on a buddhist pilgrimage to Nepal with my beloved husband, made a lot of good wishes and meditations at sacred places and in the evenings started to plan. Came back and fired one doctor and a nurse, rebuilt with the remaining team, which are sparkling diamonds that just had to be dusted and put into the light, really motivated. I started to change our schedules and reduced my debts in the bank by €30,000 within 3 month. I am far from being ready with the process but I am having more fun than in years with treating patients and working at my office. Besides that I am about to finish my first book: "hormone-free contraception", a project that was lying around half finished for years and that I will self-publish within this winter.

So, the results were different than I thought first, but so much fulfilling and I gained so much insight and drive from going through B-School.

Before B-School my monthly revenue was about €32,000 - to €34,000, It started to climb up to a whopping €52,000 Euro in the best month while reducing costs about €4,000 due to changes in the staff structure.

But what can not be measured is that I love to bike to my practice again in the mornings, so the real success is in job satisfaction, rekindling the spiritual flame within my work and also not skipping holidays because of financial pressure. I just had a great autumn break kayaking in mild sunlight filtered by colouring leaves.. Priceless! A Million and one heartfelt thanks to you Marie and your Team!!

It gave me clarity as to who I want to serve and how to go about it.

Hi I'm Judy and I'm a Facial Reflexologist. I use various techniques and points on the face to help relieve stress and fatigue, balance the body and help the body begin to heal. I also believe that great health is possible and work with my clients to empower them so that they can achieve this.

I first heard about B-School a couple of years ago but thought it was not the right time, I didn't have the money and I couldn't possibly commit to something so huge. Then when B-School came around again I found I still had the same excuses but this time I decided to ignore my fears and just take the plunge. I borrowed the money, decided to commit and decided to make the time!! It was one of the best decisions that I could possibly have made in terms of my business and my personal growth. I have a service-based business in natural therapies, seeing clients on a one-to-one basis. There are only so many hours in the day and only so many clients I can see each week and I know that I wanted to do more. B-School opened my eyes to the idea of having an online business and how to go about it. But much more than that, B-School opened my eyes to who I really was, my brand and what I wanted to put out to the world. It gave me clarity as to who I want to serve and how to go about it, who I was as a person and a therapist and the message I wanted to speak up about. It also provided me with an amazing community of people who support, educate and encourage me. I have yet to implement everything from B-School and will continue to re-do it to learn more and I have yet to have a hugely productive business. However I know that I am on my way. Thank you Marie for your generosity and encouragement. It is such an amazing gift that you have given to us all.

I used to work 60+ hours a week, now I work 30 hours a week.

When I joined B-School I had a one-year-old daughter and a five-year-old business that at one point felt successful, but no longer did. It wasn't a money thing, it was a time thing... a freedom thing. My business model at the time required me to work evenings and weekends, sixty plus hours a week which before my daughter was totally cool for my life, but after her birth it was not. I had no family time with my husband and daughter and that made me feel really really sad.

Enter B-School, which lead me through everything I needed to rethink my business. I got to work implementing the easy-to-follow program and made major changes to the entire structure of my biz.

I stopped working on weekends, learned to say no when it made sense and yes! when it made sense, created new service offerings, launched a new website, and starting sending weekly style advice to my loyal subscribers. This has all lead to the most wonderful momentum in my biz and life. I feel liberated and oh so happy.

My business continues to evolve and as it does I consult the B-School modules regularly. (I'm in there at least once a month looking something up.) It's so nice to have a base to come back to again and again.

I used to work 60+ hours a week, now I work 30 hours a week. I've have maintained revenue, working half the time (I actually make a little more). I no longer work weekends or evenings, my clients understand that and often encourage it. I've worked with incredible media outlets around the world including Vogue, GQ, Forbes, BBC and Elle. I've worked personally with hundreds of women all around the world (rather than a limited group closer to my home.)

What started as a dream has become a profitable thriving business.

I use everything I’ve learned in B-School starting up my very own Cut Flower Farm, All Dahlia’d Up where I grow mainly dahlias - in Alaska I might add. Our mission is to “Bloom and Share the Miracle and Vibrancy of Life one Flower at a time”. What started as a dream I’d do “after” I made it big has become a profitable thriving business. Before B-School I bounced around from one online business to the next trying to find that one business that I could help other plus fill my heart and my bank account at the same time.

When my son passed away from his debilitating disease, Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, in January of 2013 at the age of 21, I was left with a gaping hole in me wondering how I’d survive, but I had made him a promise I would find a way to thrive through tears anyway. That’s when I decided I jump into B-School in 2014. I actually wanted to get into grief coaching and I’d do my Flower Farm on the side. So I thought. When I sold my first bouquet I was hooked! Seeing the customer’s face light up or a bride with tears telling you her flowers are JUST what she envisioned. Further growing Dahlias fills my heart as my son had given me my first dahlia plant to grow when he was in kindergarten. They are also way for me to show my love for him and to share him with the world. Dahlias are my grief elixir.

2014 was my first season and I actually profited a little over $2000.00. Which isn’t too bad since we only have a growing season of about three months. This season (2015) we pretty much doubled that. And this next year I expect to reach 6 figures as I’ve added an engagement photo and wedding destination venue. I've also managed to keep my business debt free which has me filled with great pride and relief. B-School has basically given me a road map and helped me get crystal clear on my why - including what kind a business and lifestyle I really want.

Each year, I go through the program again and learn so much more.

Before B-School, I was a more than fulltime manager at the Stanford School of Medicine, on the fast track to senior management for the school, but increasingly unhappy and unfulfilled. Crazy long hours, super stress, all the usual, but that six figure salary and fantastic benefits were hard to turn my back on. I'd started my little creative biz, Phydeaux, in January 2008, desperate for a creative outlet after earning my degree nights/weekends while working those crazy manager hours. Phydeaux started as a hand knit business, selling scarves and cowls on Etsy. I think I grossed four figures in my first year, which is SO exciting.

But I was clueless with marketing and couldn't figure out how to "get my name out there." I learned so much my first couple of years selling online, but couldn't find The Secret Sauce. I took a medical leave from my job and decided not to return. I couldn't make decisions, completely frozen in fear of misstepping. I was so completely stuck, not able to move forward or even backward. I listened to all the wrong people. Worse, I spent every last penny I had, including my retirement fund, by the month that I started B-School in 2011.

B-School changed my life completely. In a good way. I was terrified of spending the money, but absolutely knew that if I implemented the most crucial things I learned, I would at least earn my investment back. My first holiday season post B-School, I quadrupled the previous quarter's gross revenue. I introduced hand dyed yarn, which I'd wanted to do, but was frozen in fear, and Phydeaux started taking off.

Also during that time, I was struggling with life decisions while my mother was diagnosed with, then treated for cancer. My business continued to grown during 2012, while Mom's health declined. I made the hardest decision of my life and gave up my life, career and friends in the San Francisco Bay Area - my home of more than 20 years - in order to care for my Mom and support my Dad while her cancer grew worse and worse. To live in a very small town with very few jobs, and none in my field. Phydeaux HAD to work as my fulltime job.

I moved in Summer 2012, relying on effective marketing, and ended up more than tripling my previous year's gross revenue. Mom passed away in hospice in early 2013. I won't lie - this was a terrible time and my business suffered greatly. I was close to selling and moving back to the city, but didn't want to leave Dad. So in a 'make it work' moment, we both decided to go all in with Phydeaux (Dad via his emotional support). I more than doubled the previous year's income and had my first six figure year.

2014 has been another challenging year. Dad and I now live together. We moved to a tiny community in the mountains. I'm so beyond grateful that I'm able to live with my Dad while generating the revenue necessary to live. I thought I might double last year's gross revenue, for a $20+K year, and still just might, but I exceeded last year's gross this summer, and can hardly believe it.

B-School gave me the knowledge, skills, tools and resources I needed to create ... a business and life I love. It wasn't the life I was set out to live. But it's the life I ended up having, and I couldn't have done so without knowing how to create a business that moves with me. I've always struggled with self-confidence, but now always feel confident in HOW to do the things I used to be boggled by. Each year, I go through the program again and learn so much more. Now that we're not moving anywhere for awhile (knock on wood - three times in two years is too much for me!), I am so looking forward to deeper understanding of marketing and really immersing myself in copywriting and branding.

I started out as a tiny Etsy shop. Always on the hunt for The Secret Sauce, to break the code to make consistent sales. I now know what The Secret Sauce is: marketing. For this I'm eternally and truly grateful, Marie. Thank you.

B-School taught me not to fear the unknown.

We manufacture and distribute camera systems for the construction industry, cities and municipalities and any company that needs to protect their materials, watch their jobsites or yards, or just want to keep an eye on their sub-contractors or employees. Before I started B-School, I had been in business for myself selling marketing services to contractors. Being a woman in a man's industry, I was having difficulty getting the contractors to see that they had to market their businesses differently than before and have them TRUST that I could help them.

My experience and background in the construction industry allowed me to start my own business helping building contractors market their businesses. After the crash, the contractors had to learn a whole new way to get business for their companies. Before B-School, even though I knew how to market a contractor's business, I found that I had the same challenges that the contractors did. Besides my local clientele, I did not have a national reputation - no one outside of the immediate area knew who I was or what I could do. Even in the first part of B-School learning about qualifying your "ideal customer" I found that I was looking for the wrong client in all the wrong places! I was able to identify the contractors or companies that not only needed my services, but were willing to pay me what I was worth. As a result of going through B-School, I was able to grow my business into a national, even international business having clients all over the United States and some other countries. Because B-School taught me not to fear the unknown, I became an international author of 2 books and an audiobook because I found out that proving my expertise gained me much credibility in a man's world!

B-School has allowed me to focus on my passions and on what I do best, and learn what I need to learn keep moving it all forward.

B-School is a life-changer. Over the last two decades, I have taught and learned languages on three different continents. But I am not special. Anyone can learn languages with the right tools and information and have fun doing so. It does not have to be the painful, ineffective experience so many have described to me from their formal school days. I wanted to share the materials and methods that I KNOW really work on Real Life Language, a membership site with thousands of resources for learning and teaching languages. B-School has shown me how to grow my business despite not being a celebrity or millionaire, and without a giant advertising budget. Over the last eighteen months, my reach on social media, my e-mail list and my revenue have grown steadily. B-School has allowed me to focus on my passions and on what I do best, and learn what I need to learn keep moving it all forward. Don’t be mistaken: B-School is a lot of work and not some promise of getting rich overnight. But if you want to share your unique gifts, talents and skills with the world to make a positive impact, this could be exactly the information you need to get yourself out there and change your life.

In 2012, before I discovered B-School, I remember saying to myself "only 45 more years until I can retire!" That thought shook me a little bit, to be honest. I couldn't imagine that my life was meant to just waste away in a job I couldn't connect to, but I no longer knew what I was meant to be doing in the world. My business and my art promote peace, hope, and inspiration, and I want to cry happy tears when I think about what my future holds. I couldn't possibly thank you and your team enough, Marie, and I don’t like to think about what my life would have looked like had I not found B-School.

But most importantly, I learned that I CAN do this.

Before I started B-School I was working a 9-5 corporate job. It wasn't terrible. It paid the bills. And I enjoyed the work. But I always felt like there was something more I was supposed to do with my life. I really disliked the rules I had to follow and I felt like I was missing out on the things that were most important to me.

At the time my son was 4 and my daughter was 6 months old and I felt like I was doing them a disservice by staying in a job that wasn't satisfying just to earn a paycheck. And I was missing out on the moments that count. And quite frankly, I felt like someone else was raising them for no good reason.

Then something happened. My husband was offered his dream job 500+ miles away in rural New Hampshire. So I was faced with a choice. Do I stay in my soul sucking corporate job climbing the ladder so I could hopefully be someone's boss someday (totally not my style), or do we follow his dream and move our family? No brainer!

But what do I do with my 10+ years of experience and Master's Degree in Instructional Design and Adult Learning from rural New Hampshire?

To find the answer I started poking around the internet because it's like some kind of Magic Eight Ball. And there it was, Marie Forleo's B-School! I was immediately hooked. Total business crush. On the spot. So I enrolled. And it was by far the best decision I've made in my career to date.

Yes, I learned the ins and outs of building an online business. And yes, I made some wonderful lasting connections with like minded women. But most importantly, I learned that I CAN do this. I can create the business and life I want (and deserve). I can use my expertise to help others do the same. I can have it all as a woman in America. The kids, the husband, the work and even the dog. And I can do it from wherever the heck I feel like. I am in complete control of my life! And there is no greater feeling than that!

It's taken a lot of hard work. And I have many ups and downs through the process. But once I got serious about taking action and started really following the program things started happening for me. Business started moving. I was able to establish my expertise as the "go to" for creating online courses. And people started to seek me out. What a feeling!

So, now I am sitting in our home in a beautiful lakeside community. I worked about 3 hours today and made $10,000. TODAY is my first 5 figure day! And I know there are more to come because B-School works. But more importantly today I picked my kids up from school. Helped my son with his homework. Made them their dinner. Tucked them into bed. And kissed them goodnight. And now I am getting ready to have an actual grown-up conversation with my husband. Because I am living the life I am meant to live. I have it all! And it all started with B-School.

..the best investment I’ve ever made towards my education because it gave me the step by step approach I needed.

My mission in life is to empower women and their partner for childbirth. Twenty-five years ago, I developed a non invasive methodology to help parents prepare for this important moment. The model I developed is natural and scientific. It teaches parents how to tap into their inner resources so they can live a safe and empowering birthing experience.

Before B-School, I worked hard, really hard. My father, an Italian immigrant who was a successful construction entrepreneur taught us that by working hard, we would succeed. I wondered how entrepreneurs became financially successful. Did they create the business they loved and that made a difference on their first attempt? Although I have a lot of formal schooling, I never studied business administration, finances and marketing and I came to the conclusion that a lot was due to chance, trial and error, until, I FOUND B-SCHOOL. It literally, changed my life…

Before B-School, trial and error, perseverance and lots of work was my strategy. I had a vision but did not have a clear understanding of what I needed to do to build a more successful business. I was lacking the overall picture and the steps to making things happen. B-School is by far the best investment I’ve ever made towards my education because it gave me the step by step approach I needed. The didactic material is AMAZING (this is also my speciality and I know what’s excellent when I see it). Cheers to all of you for your great work!

When I started B-School a couple of months ago, I dedicated myself to each module, reflecting, writing, practicing and listening until I got it right. I kept up the pace even though I was travelling and giving “Birthshops” in Northern Africa and in Europe. I participated in every call and listened to the audio mp3’s on the plane, in the desert and during my sleepless nights…

Since then, I’ve implemented many strategies (strategic planning, I’ve hired 2 A+++++ employees to help me, continuous user research with surveys to evaluate customer experience, developed contracts, some new products, metrics for the website, planning free material and began building a list, adapted my work to English, etc). It’s now me and “the team”. That feels soooo good. Working through the modules gave me the courage to reach for my dreams.

Well it turns out, it’s not all chance, trial and error. Having the courage to hire A+++ resources has given me more time to be creative. When I started B-School, 2 hospitals were teaching the prenatal program I developed. Parents registered and paid on my website and attended class with one of my trainers at the hospital. Since B-School, the team and I have created a new user experience with lots of great learning material for parents enrolled in our schools. We’ve worked on making their experience more satisfying, tapping into their needs and desires. They now receive loads of bonuses and e-coaching with me, once a month. By the end of 2014 (in less than 6 months), we will have gone from 2 to 10 schools and growing. This concept is great because it represents recurrent revenues that do not deplete me of my energy. We have loads of other projects on the way: e-coaching, e-learning for parents and for health care professionals with continued medical education, etc. LIFE IS GREAT. I’m sending lots of gratitude and love your way. Thanks to Marie and Team Forleo.

B-School will continue to affect my life in more ways than I can count.

I first heard of Marie Forleo in 2011 when I was first trying to start my own business. For years I’d thought about venturing out on my own and at this time I finally got serious about it. At first, her style seemed a bit too out of touch for my introvert taste but as I kept watching her videos something sparked in me and I knew I wanted to work with her. She started sharing about this program she was doing called B-School and instantly I was hooked. But as much as I desired to enroll - things were more than a bit challenging for my husband and I. Let’s just say that the recession got the best of us and we were living in the consequences of hasty decisions to try to escape it.

For the next few years, I poured myself into learning as much as I could about online business on a very tight budget. I tried getting started with a few different ideas as our lives began to sort themselves out. Nothing really panned out though. Then last year Marie announced enrollment for the 2014 class. With everything in me, I knew it was time to sign up.

I had every intention at this point to start and e-decor and interior styling biz. I had blogged before on the topic if fits and starts, but decided to commit to blogging every week going forward. The plan was to go through B-School and turn my blog into a business. Going through the pre-course content was amazing and I started to connect with many other B-Schoolers. Not only did I have a plan, but I know had the support system I needed to actually make this biz happen. And then…

Exactly halfway through the modules I hit a wall. Something felt off. I felt like I was trying to model things off of other e-decorators and interior stylists, which wasn’t good. This is not what I wanted to do. So I stopped cold turkey. Stopped blogging and took a break. For about a month or so I played with the idea of becoming a CPA - what seems like the opposite of decorating. The thing is, I have this strange mix of being highly creative AND highly analytical. Honestly, I think it was going through the B-School modules that made me start re-evaluating what I really wanted to create that would be the best expression of my gifts. I suddenly realized that ALL these interests would be what my biz would be about. Helping creative entrepreneurs run their businesses. I would tie in my detail-oriented accounting-loving side with my creative/designer side, plus all of the knowledge I acquired. And my business was born. I would now market myself as an entrepreneurial organizer & home office stylist.

What I haven’t mentioned yet was that by this time I had been working in my new position as an office manager at a firm in New York for a few months. I was out of the grip the recession had on me and now ready to really start a biz. Straight away I started going back through the B-School material and I am happy to say that I launched my site. I’m still working through the modules and taking real action each step of the way. This wouldn’t have been possible if I’d never been introduced to Marie. I don’t even know if I would still be pursuing a business at all, let alone create one that at the very core of the brand is a true expression of me. Her videos each week are an inspiration but it is her commitment to continuing B-School each year that has made my dreams possible. Thank you Marie, you are more than an inspiration, but a true encourager. This is just the beginning of my story and I am positive that B-School will continue to affect my life in more ways than I can count.
